Default Offset GURUs.....need advice and wisdom

I have a 2000 LS400

Looking to buy a set of wheels today!!!!

19x8.5 +20
19x9 +15

Will these fit? Do I need a roll or roll/pull?

Also what is low disk and hi disk.

And what are tire recommendations?

Thanks

Make sure tey are BBK friendly. And yes they will fit and you will need a roll and most likely a pull

usually if the fronts are high-disk, they'll clear BBK.

Those offsets looks like it will fit. The rears probably need a fender roll or shave.
When rolling the rear or front fenders there's a good chance it will dimple

all depends on how low you are and what size tire you're going to run.

those sizes will fit with a roll at most, no pull needed.

I'm looking to go for a moderate drop. Nothing too crazy. Maybe 1 finger gap.

What tire size do you recommend? I rather have bigger sidewalks rather than thin.

225/35 front and 245/35 rear is pretty meaty for those sizes, but on such narrow wheels probably your best bet for retaining a lot of sidewall.

alternatively you can try going 245/35 all around, but it'll look funny on an 8.5" rim and will rub in the front wheel well. 225/35-20 would work all around but only if you really needed to stretch in the rear, which you will not (at all) need to do.

^ I'll second that a 245/35 will rub on the fronts on an 8.5" wheel - mine did that at full lock. Dropping to a 225/35 in front remedied that problem.

Theres barely any stretch for those wheels.
If it's low enough it will flare your front fenders for you

Ok. I will go with 225/35 n 245/35. Crossing my fingers that all will go well. I hope I don't need to pull fenders.
I will keep u guys posted. But keep the advices coming. I like to get multiple inputs. Thanks.

that will fit with a minor roll. our cars can handle single digit offsets with very minimal fender modification. of course as mentioned it also depends on size of tire, and amount of drop. you will need high disk up front but a 15mm spacer can help with fitment at the offset you mentioned. what wheel? i can guesstimate the disk if it will clear your brakes or not.
