Pulled the code for my engine check light, said 25, Air-fuel ratio lean malfunction. I knew about this connector being halfway fixed when I bought the car, but it never gave an ecl until recently, the epoxy is coming loose now, so I figured this was it. Do I need a new connector pipe (if thats what its even called), or a new vacuum hose, or both?

your vacuum hose looks fine from here

in another thread here that I cannot find at the moment, someone rebuilt their pipe and did a nice job, and was spared the expense of the Lexus pipe, but if you can afford it, just get the original Toyota part.

the hose is fine, simply fix the inlet. be creative and find a hard tube or pipe to epoxy to make the repair.

it's also unfiltered air as well, and will eventually foul up your butterfly and other critical components within the throttle body and even the engine.
