Default LED tails compatible with 90-94?

I know they are compatible with the later versions of the ls400's.
Im worried more about fitment rather than wiring.
any reason these wont work on a 1990?
i understand the dash light may go off but what other problems would i be facing?
searched and searched found no answers : (

i think the corners are gonna be a fitment problem. i have a 93 and was looking at these too, i also was parked right next to a 98 earlier this evening, looking at the exact same thing your questioning. it looks like the trunk is wider, and the corners dont extend as far towards the rear wheel wells.

if you have deep pockets, then you can make anything fit
but like shoob said, the fitment will be way off on both the corners and inners.

lame. well thanks. its not worth it to make em fit. rather just put led bulbs in the stockers. : (
well appreciate the input?
has anyone actually tried swapping the later tails into the earlier models? Just as a for sure answer?

95-97 and 98-00 lights will not come anywhere close to fitting into an '89-94 LS.

Hell, you can't even interchange '95-97 and '98-00 lights, they don't swap either.

There is no LED tail lights for the first gen LS400. The only company that made some was junction produce and they were 1,400 retail, and also you can't buy them and super rare. That's why I just custom made mine.

yeah, make your own, if your hell bent. you can pick up a bag of 100 leds and the resistors for about $5.00 on ebay. theyre super simple to do. im guessing each tail light will take about 250-sh. also a resistor doest have to go on every led, unless you want them blinding bright. you can actuall put like 20 in a line and only run a 1/4 watt 12v resistor.
