What did you do to your LS400 today?

Traded my xbox for a older pioneer deh-940mp deck with aux input adapter and also got a couple 3.5" speakers and some tweeters. Gonna install the speakers and tweeters tomorrow and hope they work.

Rear pads and rotors replaced. I picked up two Brembo 25538 rotors on closeout at Rockauto for $18 each. Regular inventory on these is $71 each. I figured worst-case scenario they turn out to be warped and I return them. Other than looking like they'd been on a shelf for a long time, they were fine. Installed them today with a set of Wagner Thermoquiet pads. Very happy with the results.

Went to pop the trunk and it didn't open. Thought the battery in the remote was dead so I walked up to the car and noticed the driver door was not fully closed. Over the weekend when I retrieved something from the inside of the car was last time I had opened it. The interior lights were on or until the battery gave up which is probably within 16 hours. Hooked up the battery charger in the hope this deep cycle didn't kill the battery.

What did you do to get them to fit? Did you need special spacers or did they just bolt right on? I actually like those wheels. Stylish yet subdued?

My grandkids left a back seat reading light on while we were parked for a week at the airport. I guess that qualifies as a deep cycle :-)
Anyway, after jumping it, everything was fine for several years when the battery was up for normal life replacement. I believe that it depends on the condition of the battery - if relatively new, it does not matter much.
