Default removing ECM 94 ls400

It doesn't seem that I can remove my ECM from the inside of the glovebox and from lower kick panel. Am I missing something? Other posters have said that the panel below the glovebox does not need to be removed, but I can'e see any other way and I also can't see all the bolts to remove that panel. Please point me in the right direction. A tutorial here would be great!

I'm having the same mystery with the engine running fine one day and not the next. The Toy dealership was no help but they gladly accepted $1200 for me to find out. I did have the problem with bad caps in the dask and no instrument lights, so I'm going after bad cops in the ECM.

I DID try searching!

Thanks - this forum has been great help.

VERY likely that your ECM needs new capacitors, please see my post here

by the way, the lower glove box is a biitch to get out the first time, several hidden fasteners (bolts/nuts) and some are even behind hidden panels INSIDE the glove box, just keep at it, you will find them! (also the glove box light must be disconnected and removed)

and yes, you have to remove the panel below the glove box as well as the lower glove box to remove the ECM
