why do i still feel like theres air in my brakes??

How did it drive before the caliper came apart? This seems to be snowballing into a suspension rebuild....just sayin.

it drove fine until the brake went to the floor and the caliper shaft poped out with the brake pad lol im thinking i did not know at what point it poped out so was thinking air been geeting into the stsyem for a couple of days when driving it untill that last day of work made it to the drive way then thats when the brake hit the floor,THANK GOD for that happening at the right time/place

YEA when i get down time again i will try to completly drain the brake fluid and start with fresh fluids any tips on the best way to do this

ok well i finally jumped in the car to drivr around the block,when i hit the brakes to stop or slow down at a point it will make a noise from the pedal them feels like its slipping on pedal with the sound,it happends for a quick secnd then goes awayy???? any one knowq what this could be for sure??? before i start buy unneccesary parts

What I slipping on the pedal?? What does the noise sound like??? Don't say it sounds like slipping on the pedal like you have said so many times because there is nothing on the padal to slip... And slip to where??your foot is sliding on the pedal??

it sounds like fluid squeking if theres such a thing ??? i guess when i say slipping its when i brake it feels like the brakes are not grabbing the rotor but it goes back to normal braking atfter the noise and sliiping at the same time??

QUESTION- what are signs of a bad master cylinder???? and i also heard theres a certain way to bleed brakes with cars that got abs,is this true??

Did you bleed your brakes with the engine running? What does the pedal feal like with the engine off?

yes i bleed the brakes with the motor runing, i did each valve 4-5 times,the pedal is soft at first press but after that it tightens up

I'm not sure about this, but I was allways told not to bleed the brakes with the engine running. Unfortunatly I dont reasons why. But I've never had any issues after replacing a caliper a cylinder doing it this way.

There are discussions on other forums regarding this practice, those may be worthwhile reading. I have not had the engine running for brake bleeding.

A machanic told me to replace the master cylinder,shoot the last machanic told me to replace the rear brake abs sensor and its still doing the same thing and i wasted 175 on the part,so whats the sign of a bad or going bad master cylinder????? I really hate to have to waste money because what a machanics are guessing on, soor about the caps lol
