Alright guys, whatcha think?
1999 LS400, 36000 miles, warranty (Toyota not Lexus Cert.) $29900 I know I can get it to $28.5
It leases out to $501. If its gonna be an LS, this is it.
Opinions please!

It looks great!. I think its a good deal too. Any thing you can save from there is gravy.

I shall.
The guy thinks it has Nak but he's not sure and has not emailed me back yet
I'm very used to the LS, its the experience with my father's 98 that made me want to get a Lexus in the first place!
Spousey wants the ES though. She'll live

I like the style of the ES, but the problem with it is, nobody on the road really knows its a Lexus. Out of all of them I think it has the least brand recognition.
My issue is, I do a lot of freeway driving and I want the smoothest quietest, most graceful car I can get, the LS is it I think.
I still have not heard from the guy, so I'm going to call him back. I just found out my American Express card has been stolen so I've been a little pre-occupied. Someone went on a cross country trip and I paid for all their gas. Thankfully I'm not accountable for it though.
Anyways, whats everyone think of the color? I was thinking black, but the burgandy is very close to the current black cherry pearl, which spousey likes
I also really love the Alpine silver with black int, but thats what my father drives and he'd never let me live that down.

Dude the car is beautiful, take it, black is elegant although in my opinion also sort-a common. Cherry-pearl is exotic-TAKE IT, The LS is excellent for road trips, you feel like your on cloud 9, you'll love it.

I just found the same car in MA for $28900 with 29,000 miles! I sent them an email, would probably cost me $400 or so to have it shipped here.
That brings the lease down to $489...
I think I'm leaning!

Well, the burgundy car in Mass. is out, it has an accident report, not a salvage title but it was in an accident. The guy wasn't straight with me so this car is out.
As for the car with the listed picture, it appears that its had as many as 3 owners and was a commercial vehicle at some point, so this worries me slightly.
I am on the trail of a black on black 00 in Florida that looks promising though.

Look at Expo motor cars in Houston TX for LS 400s
SW, look at expo motor cars in Houston, Texas. I have had good experiences with them in the past.
They sell cars on Ebay and have received very good reviews.
I bought my first LS from them (a 91, one owner, 40K miles and in great condition for 11k) back in 2001.
the two salesmen use the following handles on ebay:
silverstar2k
y2k-usa
good luck
