Default My 93' LS update(lot's of pics)

Been a few weeks since I installed my coilovers and a few months since I've had my car. Picked her up in March I believe
Here's a pic from the night I picked her up. Only 191,000km, ~ about 116,680 miles.

After a few months of debating which coilovers to get I finally decided and went with Megan LP's.

While deciding what coilovers I wanted I was on the hunt for wheels and found a set of Ray's LK in rough shape but for dirt cheap.
Here's how they looked when I picked them up.

After sandblasting

Decided to polish the lip, heres the result... not completely polished but not bad for my first time if I may say so myself.

After plastidipping my wheels and getting my tires mounted

After installing them I had quite a little rake. Kinda liked it but wanted it to be more even, also the fact that the rear tires would rub every bump was annoying.

Here's the result of getting the fenders rolled and lowering the car in the back a bit more

And here's a pic a buddy of mine took at a meet

Here are the wheel and tire specs
Rays Arthur Exchange LK
Front: 18x9 ET 38 with 235/40/18
Rear: 18x10 ET 36 with 265/40/18
Tires are Michelin PS2's
Keep in mind the offset specs may not be 100% accurate.

Nice ride. Black wheels are decent, but agree that polish would look even better

I'm not a big fan of them polished, I did a test fit when I bought them when they were in bad condition but still in silver/polished and it wasn't really my cup of tea. Depending the route I take i may get a new set of wheels and/or get these re-barrelled and powder-coated.

The last one? Thanks my buddy took it lol. I got a shop to do it for $60. They did a really good job considering there's those holes for the black trim to screw into. I thought about doing it myself but didn't want to mess it up

Yup, pretty good tires so far. Haven't gotten the chance to really test them out but soon Yup it's oem paint "Midnight Indigo Pearl" One of the few LS's i've seen with this color

So today after changing my oil I decided to paint my callipers since the rusty brown color just wasn't doing it for me.

Before:

After:

Did a silver base coat, then applied the lexus logo sticker I printed at home then painted them gloss black and then removed the sticker to reveal the silver lettering. I love the way they look
