Default My 98 ls400 recently bought

Well just recently picked up a 98 Lexus ls400, it's completely stock and I already have plans on modding it loving this car so far!

Very nice and clean...congrats on your pick...Question: what year did the LS400 start using an interference engine? I say around 1998 but my friend says it's 1997...whose correct...? Again congrats on your new LS...

Thanks guys! As for your question ntruda I am not sure lol. So far Just got the windows tinted all around and will be installing a pioneer double din. Next on list it lowering it just not quite sure what to go with yet :/ any suggestions?

I think interference engines started in 95. PD has talked about this....search.
