Default trying to remove rear differential ucf2x 95 LS400 need some help

I'm trying to remove the rear differential from to car to get the forward bushing pressed out.
it's 1995 LS400.
what is the best way to drop the rear axles from the diff? should i remove the lateral links to the knuckle so i can flip the knuckle + axle away from the diff?
or is there a better way?
or can the axles be separated from the diff simply by dropping the rear differential down?

i have never done this but i would imagine you simply need to disconnect the driveshaft and pull the diff out with the axles still attached, and change the bushes. i may be completely wrong haha! we all need to invest in a factory service manual.

both of you are severely overcomplicating this. Timmy0tool, you can't pull the diff with the axles attached unless you drop the entire rear subframe.

disconnect prop shaft and drain diff, remove exhaust if necessary. Make matchmarks on the axles, undo all the bolts holding the axles to the diff (10mm hex), and tie them so they don't hang down. then undo the diff mount bolts (12mm hex iirc) while it's supported and you're home free. You may/may not need to remove the sway bar brackets to give you clearance. Bolt sizes may be different on the 95-97 (my sizes were from a '98-00)

i figured it out. i dropped drive shaft.
removed all the 10 hex bolt attaching axles to diff.
pop axles away from diff.
removed two 12mm hex bolt to the subframe.
removed 1 bolt in the mount in the middle of the diff. and off it came.
problem now is all the bushing and mounts are bad and i'm left to press out the bushing housing from the subframe and i dont' have the special tools to do it.
