Default LS Y Pipe Swap

Hey guys I've searched the forum and for life of me can"t find the thread where someone said the 97 LS 400 y pipe was similar too the SC 400 ypipe, meaning can be used on a LS 400 can someone confirm this for me. I just purchased a SC 400 with engine problems and wanted to swap the ypipe on my LS. Thx guys in advanced.

uhh,, there's no significant improvement, and therefore its not worth your time. plus it won't fit/bolt in without significant modification.

JBrady did at one point talk about how the LS' Y-pipe was less restrictive than the GS y-pipe, but all the OEM xUZ setups are suboptimal in my eyes.
