Hello CL, I have a 92 ls400 with 241,xxx on the clock. Recentlyy sunroof has not been operating properly. I can not roll the sunroof back or tilt it closed... It will tilt open bit will not tilt to close . Luckily it's summer and I'm in California no rain please for I have my sunroof left at the tilt open position. Sometimes it will work to tilt close but will not close all the way because the widow open chime
Will sound when I remove the key from the ignition.

Try maybe spraying some oil or WD-40 sometime that will loosen up what ever is in their

check the rails and make sure nothing's stuck in there.

Thanks or the replies , I got it to close after tilting it up all the way and tilting it down completely. It might be that the rails need re greasing.
