I never did post up my exhaust video. I actually need to make a new one as like most of the rasp has gone away since the Magnaflow mufflers have broken in. But here it is right after install. Full custom X pipe from the cat back and 2 magna flow mufflers. I am actually going to mount new mufflers that look exactly like the 5zigen mega's once I install my new aero. But for now here is a clip of down turned magna flows.

Default exhaust setups.

Anybody have a good setup they got and want to share? My exhaust sounds like hell from some leaks, not sure if my cats are junk until tomorrow, but im taking my car to have the full exhaust redone and rebuilt with an X pipe for $140 and I wanted to see some other peeps exhausts.

My design was picked out after I saw this youtube video:

How he did the tips is ghastly, but I am going to have my two stock mufflers back there to retain my sweet gold tips.

looking through this thread and others, as well as reading the actual stickied links would help with your confusion.

^ nice bends! wonder how a single exhaust would affect performance.

Timmy,

All things being equal:
less bends = less turbulence = less resistance/restriction = maintained pulse velocity = more power...

There are tons of posts on the forums about other members' setups and no two are the same. As always, it's an individual choice based on looks, tone, clearance, price, complexity of design, etc. etc. Notice I didn't include HP gain. Some will argue differently, but unless you are going from the headers back - your HP gains just from new mufflers is negligible. JMO. I dumped all 5 OEM mufflers from my '98 and replaced them with custom stainless piping and two Flowmaster American Thunders. One guy said I turned my luxury car into a Camaro but oh well, works for me! Good luck and post some pics of your final design.

just for reference, here is my buddy eddie's setup.

get this this outta here

all finished and tucked, new bungs and o2 sensors hooked up. what's not pictured is the hangers that connect the piping to the transmission bracket....

rear section/muffler delete, I did this prior to the tuck posted above....but never posted a picture

I definitely noticed a difference, not scraping on driveways I normally would, no more taking reflectors with me off the road....hopefully no more exhaust leaks as well. There's a video on my instagram (@rawritseddie) from when I first did the muffler delete if you wanna know what it sounds like...
sound clip here:
