Default Ls400 Coilover mounting location

I have owned my 1999 ls400 for a couple months now, and found that the suspension was completely shot, body roll for days, bottom out on anything, and with a full car, scrape down the road. to fix this, i bought megan ez street coilovers. i was happy with what i got for the price and was going to throw them into the car, when i realized i had no clue where the rear coilovers mount to. i checked online and no videos or pictures were available, so could anyone help out with their location? -- thanks, splexus

LOL... ***... Don't think that is what he was looking for. But it was funny. you need to take out the rear seat and the rear deck carpet behind the rear seat. once that is out it will be pretty apparent where they mount up to. GL

I'm not sure if it's the same on the 99 as it is on the 95, but the short ones go up front.

that bit of information is true for all LS400s, '89-00.

rear seat bottoms pop out, backs unbolt, carefully pry up the rear deck, 3pt mount is there.
and as mentioned, longer coils/shocks go in the rear.
