Smile LS400 post your wheels thread inspired me. But some questions

Hello,

The Wheel topic was really pleasing to read and it really inspired me to do some changes. But it also pushed some questions in me.

One question is for peoples wearing 19" and 20" wheels. Can you install them without doing structural modifications ? Do they fit ?
And one question of me is regarding the width of the tire. What would be a decent amount of wide without needing to add little side skirts to the original structure to the car.
I understand that it will probably depends of the wheel used. But did you needed some "spacers" and other stuff like that to make your wheels fit, or is the concave form enough for winning width ?
The Wheels that I'm looking for are the Vossen CVT (in bronze colour). They are available at 19x8.5 and 19x10 and I don't know which one will fit in the original space without doing heavy mods.
(just for info, the coilovers will also be replaced during the process, for a lower and firmier ride)

Those CVTs are sweet. My 21" staggered setup required fender rolling front and rear. Depending on how low you go, camber, the tire size and stretch you go with, you may have to do the same for a 20". Also, make sure that those Vossens will clear the front calipers, if you have to add spacers to clear the calipers, that will push the wheels out towards the fender more.
