Default hard to start then High idle 1100rpm

Hello, I have a 94ls with 265k miles on it. Last month a couple of times when I was on the road the car would just loose power and I would have to drive with two feet just to make it home. The check engine and Track lite would be on. The next day or so it would start/ run fine with no engine light on. I checked and no diag codes and as a matter of fact the light does not even flash when in diag mode.
So I did a tune-up (spark, wires, distributor, rotor fuel filter and Coolant Temperature sensor). While I was at it I replaced both valve covers and cleaned the throttle body the best I could (http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/EFI/throttlebody.html). Now I have to start the car with the gas pedal pressed half way down or spray starting fluid. When it starts the car will idle around 1100rpm with the check engine and track lite on. No diag codes (don’t even blink). What do you think?

Oh I forgot, I also replaced the caps on the ECU and checked the harness on the trunk lid for a broken wire.

When you connect it in, does the CEL come on at least? What's your fuel pressure reading?

the caps arent the only component on an ECU that can fail. plus the electrolyte material could have shorted any part of the board it was in contact with.

If you want to test your computer and get one cheap try a salvage yard. I just spent the past two days helping a friend out and fix some of his problems in a Chevy Blazer ZR2 while in Atlanta. Salvage yards where you go in and pull the part yourself are fantastic. Like a Mad Max world of demolition. Saved our butt's as a sensor wire to his fuel pump was broken and the whole state of GA did not have one in stock.

At least here in GA there were 90 - 94's around to choose from. Interesting how none of them any 95 - 2000 ls400's.

The battery is good (stay on a charger) and I do not see one flash of the CEL in diag. The CEL come on during starting and when the engine is running. I'm currently searching for a ECU and not sure about the fuel pressure. I do have crazy pressure when I remove the gas cap.

In that case, make sure you are plugged in correctly. I believe it's pin TE1 and E1. It WILL flash if its plugged in correctly.

The Tc and E1 jumper is for the ABS and TRAC codes and it flashes but nothing on the Te1 and E1.
