Default Ugggghh! Just messed up my own car

So I took to pressure wash the bottom of the car and a little on the top avoiding the fuse box and electrical components. I have a power steering leak and this was my reasoning so I can see exactly where it's leaking from.

Re-connected battery after letting car dry for an hour. It's running very rough, idle is way too low, she spurts and sputters when I just drive around the block. I have cleaned many other cars this way without any problems. Man this is bad... Initially the check VSC came on but then went off. Right now I am going to let it sit for a few more hours before checking again.

No check engine light has come on but I did not drive it for but about 1 min. Any suggestions?

yes, dont ever do that again.... given time it will probably dry out. if you have air pressure available, blow it out around all the sensors and ele connections and fuses under hood.

Just have to let it dry out and cross the fingers. Still enough electronics that run along the lower portion of the engine so any connectors that now have water will not be happy.

My routine for cleaning under the car is spray degreaser on a rag, wipe then use a spray bottle with hot water to rinse or damp rag.

Thanks guys! She is back running smooth. Boy, she was not happy whatsoever (nor was I). The idle was around 300 rpm in gear and she was running horrid. I disconnected the battery again and checked her over. I could not find anything out of order, no fuses were blown or any wires looked cracked or burnt. Lesson learned. I will never do that again. The up side is that she is very clean and I should be able to see exactly where she is leaking...
