Default Water pump/timing belt

So I'm about to pick up a 96 ls400 with 158xxx miles. Not sure when the water pump and timing belt was last changed,So that's what I plan on doing right away. What other parts do I need to to complete this job??? Should I get a tensioner and idler pully as well? Also since its gonna be on a lift should i do transmission flush with transmission filter? And how many quarts of ATF Type iv should I buy? Any Feed back would be much appreciated!
Thanks

Definitely check the Trans Fluid and replace the Filter as I'm looking at used transmissions now

I think it's 6qts from what I've been reading.

Things I will personally change out within the next month when I do my timing belt.

- Valve cover gaskets
- Spark Plug gaskets
- Spark plugs
- Ignition wires
- Distributor cap and rotors
- Water pump
- Timing belt
- Camshaft seals (if leaking)
- Drive belt

I may add to this list later, it's stuff that will have to be taken out or will be easily removed so you might as well do them things.
