Default 1990 LS400 ECU location?

I picked up a used but good ECU to swap out in my car to see if that is what's wrong with my car. And now, not knowing much about the car yet, I have no Idea where the ECU is located at in the car. Please help, I need to get it swapped out quick, the horrible MPG is KILLING ME!!!

A 1-LS owner might chime. Check behind the glove box and right side passenger kick panel.
Are you sure it is an ECU issue and not a sensor? Plenty of other electronics that can have an impact on MPG.

I know, after talking on here for quite a while trying to diagnose it, it's been the main consensus that it's probably the ECU. It isn't showing any error codes and it acts like it's running in safe mode. It surges, very rough idle, low power, getting about 12 mpg.

It suddenly ran horrible, I put new plugs and wires on it, slightly better. Everything seems to check out fine, if the ECU doesn't fix it, it's going to the shop. I can't mess with it trying to figure this out anymore, I HAVE TO get it running right quickly...

The coils both have spark, one could be weak but I don't have any way to check that right now... I'm not used to working on computerized cars, I'm used to working on my 77 El Camino or my 79 Trans Am or the several old Mavericks I had at one time.

I can't afford to keep buying parts to swap out to see if it fixes the issue
