Supra TT brake on 1st Gen LS400
#2
First of all,the hole in the center of the rotor is 2mm smaller on your car versus the TT,no problem, just need to chuck the part up in a lathe and cut away .080 from the center bore(.040 a side).
The larger TT calipers will hit nearly all stock wheel's spokes.
As far as the caliper mounting goes,I have no idea, but I'm working quietly on a way to have bigger brakes on a car without being affected by the wheel center design;a custom steel bracket that moves the stock (SC in my case)caliper out on the radian,or towards the edge of a new, larger TT rotor. The distance needed to move out is around .600".
We'll call it "John's brakes",when I fry my stock rotors, and get around to doing it that is,or if you want to go for it;you'll be needing something soon, from what it sounds.

David, any decent brakes are going to require larger wheels. One option is the 95+ LS400 brakes. Nearly identical to the Supra TT except 12.4" vs 12.7" on Supra. Calipers look to be identical with 4 piston calipers. You can probably get a deal from a wrecking yard or someone parting out a car. Good luck. I am following your turbo upgrade closely. Keep up the information. Maybe start a new thread so it is less massive and reference the older thread as necessary.
