Default Wheel fitment question and offset recommendation, AEZ Valencia 17x7 on -2000 LS400

Sorry for posting another wheel fitment question on this forum but couldn't find the information I was looking for.

Planing on buying a wheel named AEZ Valencia for my car, a -2000 LS400. See picture below

The dimension I'm looking for is 17x7 and I'm going to fit the wheel with a 225-55 tyre.
My first question is, will this wheel clear the brakes on the car? It looks that way for me but I want to be sure.
My second question is, which offset should I choose? They are available in both +40 or +48. The information I have found suggest that +40 should be the better choice, but once again I want to be sure.

You can find more information about the wheel here: http://www.aez-wheels.com/396_EN.htm?webdid=462

Thanks in advance!

Nice looking wheel. The +40 is conservative enough and +48 would be sunken. Their configurator has the IS and GS listed so I suspect it will clear. Just verify with the dealer before ordering.
BTW, what is the price per wheel?

it will be close to stock fitment if not a few mm more conservative.

call the wheel manufacturer and confirm they will fit big brakes, there's no surefire way to know if they will clear '95-00 brakes otherwise.
looking at the configurator i heavily doubt they will clear, there is no LS/celsior listing at all nor is the turbo supra on the list of possible fitments.

Thanks for your answer. I will check with the main dealer for this wheel in Sweden to see if they can verify that the wheel will fit. I just wanted to check with this forum first. Have a feeling that the knowledge about the LS400 is a bit higher here then on the varies customer supports for wheel dealers in Sweden I'm afraid that they just will check that the wheel will fit on the hub.

The recommended price in Sweden for this wheel is 2395 SEK (around $340) per wheel. But I have found a on-line store that sell them for 1785 SEK (around $255) per wheel.

Thanks for your answer. I will also contact the manufacturer if I can't get a good answer from the main dealer for this wheel in Sweden. And I will point out that the LS400 has big front brakes, especially the brake calibers. The LS and the turbo supra is rare cars in Europe, I guess thats why they are not in the configurator. Haven't seen the LS in any wheel configurator from the big European wheel manufacturers.

Default Verified that AEZ Valencia 17x7 will fit on -2000 LS400

I can now verify that AEZ Valencia 17x7 with offset +40 will fit on a 2000 LS400. See pictures below.

Thank you! Has also noticed that euro LS400 of this generation don't have a integrated antenna as the US models. Don't know why, maybe it's because of the difference in frequency band for the radio between Europa and America?

It was a way for Toyota to use the left over panels from the 95-97 years so they just stuck the remaining antennas in as well. Hahaha...

Makes me curious what other differences there were from JDM, US and Euro spec UCF2X.
