Rigged UCF20 Pics
Hello All
I recently purchased this car 1995 and It has definitely been rigged or stuff bypassed
I wish I knew how to tell what is going on here lol
If someone can please tell me what these parts are that would be great or even send me a diagram of the engine
Car is running ok but not like my 93 i know theres room for improvement here
Here are some pics and if u all could let me know that would be great
Thanks and Happy Thanksgiving
where do or did these vacuum lines go
and this one has no connector anywhere near it

There are some close up pictures on the link below that may help with the missing vacuum hoses and your other picture looks like the engine temperature sender.

The first pic; I don't know where it goes b/c my car doesn't have it.
The 2nd pic is actually the "START INJECTOR TIME SWITCH". I remember someone else was thinking it was the ECT. The connector for the ECT will not fit on that sensor. I know this part cost almost $200. There should be a connector near there somewhere, I'm pretty sure it's grey.

Not sure what it does to be honest but the way the name of the part sounds, it sounds like maybe it would have something to do with giving the injectors power when you start the car. I remember reading a while back another member, or it could have been on another site, did a timing belt and his car wouldn't start until he found that plug wasn't plugged in, then it started right up.

That first one with the broken vacuum tips is a BVSV but I've never seen one on an LS400, it's something out of the bad-old 7M days.

Somebody probably removed or lost a sensor and then, finding that piece in their toolbox, screwed it into the hole where it went.
