Default Trip a / b

Hello CL,

Still a new member to CL but have been on the threads daily. I own a 92 ls and I am encountering a problem or glitch with the digital trip meter. When I reach 1000 miles on my trip b counter it resets back to 0. Trip a continues to count. Has anyone encountered this as well?
Thanks in advance!!

This might sound silly, but does the owners manual say anything about this? On my 96 my B has over 1,000 miles on it. and I haven't noticing it reset. But apples/oranges

I use trip a for oil change mileage. And trip b, i use to monitor my gas mileage.

So what you're saying is trip A counts farther than trip B...
