Default 1990 ls400 Brake ROTOR question

The rotors on the early production ls400's were to thin. .23mm thick or somthing like that. After 1990 lexus went with a .26mm thick rotor.

Does anyone know if I can go ahead and use the thicker rotors with the stock Calipers?

I drive an early production 1990 ls400

I have been having problems with rotors warping it is beginning to be a real pain.

Thanks,

DUDE74

I think the calipers are the same but you might have to get new carriers to compensate for the wider rotors.
I'm not sure, maybe someone else will chime in and help.

I've been grumbling over my brakes in my LS for a while now..

In 1993 they went to a 30MM rotor!

I recently tried to get SC430 brakes retrofitted, but the caliper was too big. You should try upgrading to 1993 calipers and rotors, if those don't fit try 1992.

If neither of those work and of course the braking is still going to be lame, you can try performance pads. That should help a little.
