I Need Help With My Unfixable '90 LS.
Either 3 things are happening right now:
1. My car is falling apart.
2. My dads mechanic is a moron.
3. My dads mechanic is scamming us.
So far, I've sent my car to the mechanic about 2-3 times within a month.
My steering wheel was titled to the right, had them do an alignment, and now it's tilted to the left..
Besides that, the last time I took my car to them was yesterday.
The week before, I found out that the error codes my car has were the following:
Engine: 41
Traction: 19, 45, & 51
When I picked up my car yesterday, they said that there was this build up of dirt near my throttle door (or something related to the throttle), and that there is a sensor near that, and after cleaning it, it's all good as new.
Well, that's obviously complete bull****, because I now have the following errors:
Engine: 24 & 41
Traction: 19, 24, 45, & 51
I've given up on them (a part of me wants to do something like press charges for them scamming me), and I have to get my car fixed.
I'm not a mechanic, but when it comes to reading instructions and completing a task, I'm great at that.
I don't know whats wrong with the car, and I need to fix it.
According to Lexls.com, I have these problems:
Engine
24: Intake air temp. sensor signal
41: Throttle position sensor signal
Traction
19: TRAC motor ON and OFF operation is higher than a predetermined number of times (accumulator pressure leak)
24: Open or short in sub-throttle actuator circuit
45: When idle switch is ON, main throttle position sensor signal is 1.5V or higher
51: Problem in engine control system
By the looks of it, something is wrong with my throttle, my intake, my traction, my engine control system, and the idle switch.
Also, what's the normal range of RPM when your car is Idling, 600? Because mines was at 200-300 rpm tonight..

find a new mech. I've got a great place I use out in monrovia when I'm too busy/lazy to work on my family's cars myself called Luxury Motorworks. SUPER honest, and pricing is a hell of a lot better than any dealership (and tbh, the service is better...). Plus the owner is an ex dealership Mastertech and the shop maintains a small fleet of 1LS' as loaner cars 
for the IAT code-make sure that the AFM was plugged in properly.
the traction control and TPS stuff are all related (the trac butterfly is on the throttle body).
do this to check if your mech even cleaned the throttle body like he claimed:

and here's how to both test and readjust your TPS.

^if you can't get your stock TPS within that range or the value are WAY out there, it's probably dead.
also, that alignment thing is ridiculous...

Since both the TPS and traction throttle codes are thrown, (I would have to go double check this is possible...) but I have to wonder if they managed to hook things up backwards.
Doing a full brake fluid flush took care of my traction system code 19.
With the number of sensor codes you have, I also have to wonder if you have some damaged wiring. It would probably be worth taking the time to give the harnesses in the intake area a good look over.

PD, I'll definitely take a look at it on either Sunday or Tuesday (Class today, Work tomorrow, ComiKaze Saturday, and I got a 5 hour Exam on Sunday plus a meet). But I'l try to take a look at it in between my schedule.

Great news, is that on Saturday, my girlfriends friend is coming also, and this guy is studying to be a mechanic. Maybe he can take a look at my car for practice?

I'm sure he'll know what he's doing, but I'll talk to him about it first before he touches my car. I might have to reconsider. Besides, the only plus side I see to this, is that it wouldn't be as expensive as a mechanic.
But like I said, I'm gonna go through the tutorials you posted and see if I can resolve the issue myself, before getting assistance from either Hilux or my gfs friend.

intake air temperature sensor, in a car like the '95+ at least, it's in the MAF sensor. your car has a karmann vortex honeycomb-type air flow meter (AFM). I suppose that the AFM has a temperature sensor too.
