LS's RPM staying high
hello, my 99 ls400 RPM seems to stay high at idle, every morning i go to start my car it would be at 1.2- 1.3k which is okay at rough start since it hasnt been driven, but after 3 mins it still at that rpm! but if i shift it into drive, it would drop down before 1k which is okay ... in my old gs the rpm which stay 1.2k then slowly drop down to 1k and im good to go. anyone know whats up with this? i also hear this slight noise not sure if i can feel any vibration but it occurs when the car is at the light and im holding down the breaks, could be a master break cylinder noise or power steering because my car sounds like a hybrid when i step on the gas from stop but idk im sure ...thx in advance guys.

perhaps u need to take all the tubing off and clean all the gunk out of the throttle body with some carb cleaner and use a towel and wooden spatula to get inside the throttle body well...sounds like its sticking for some reason....other thing could be your IAC needing cleaning....
