Default LS rims and tire question

Hi,

I'm looking on buying the rims that are taken out from SC430. the rims come with brand new Bridgestone Turanza 235/45 WR18. i checked the tirerack.com and they recommend 235/50 - 18 instead. so i'm wondering if it would be alright to put 235/45 on my 95' LS. will it have any affect on the speed odometer or the look??

235 45 18 will cause more fender gap if u not going to lower ur LS,

235 50 18 = more comfort and less noise,

I brought the sc430 rims just can't fit on my 98 LS400 due to the caliper clearance, I don't know 95 have the same caliper size with the 98, but I recommend u to get a test fit, u can get the tyres from tirerack, I just cancel the order of the bfgoodrich tyres, 235-50-18 and only cost 94 a piece... WR speed rate,

the rims look more elegant on the LS series.... but I just got no luck with it....

What is the offset on the SC wheels?
You need at least 38 offset to clear the calipers.
I'm thinking 10mm will make that wheel fit nicely right there with the fender.

I tried with the spacer but once I put them on there is only a little space with the stud which the lugnut is not fully tighen with the stud.. so it's not even safe so I just forget it.
In addition. I also tried the hub adapter but the rim just look wierd from the front..

However,, thankx u guys.

maybe we can meet up, my class starts at 5pm on monday.

GSs are played out in our area, LSs are more rare.
