if heated seats, they're 20 years old...
if heater, make sure you have enough coolant in the system.

Does it get hotter when you're driving and get cooler when stopped? If so, you have an air bubble in the system. Fill it and bleed it.
It also could be that the heater valve isn't opening enough. Turn the heat to max hot and see if the heater valve is working correctly. You might ask so I'll tell you; it's located in the engine bay on the passenger side bolted to the firewall. It has the heater hoses connected to it and a cable which opens and closes the valve. The valve is a common problem with the heating system.
Gotta get that heat working, these northeast winters get pretty bad. Hell, it was down to lower 50s last night.

Sounds like a bubble to me, I had the same problem! I took the opportunity to do a full bleed and clean before wintertime! And man, after I finished.. I beg the winter to bring the cold, because the heat works better than ever!

Let me save you the trouble and give you this, http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/cooling/coolant.html

NOTE: in the article he says that getting to the left and right drain ***** is difficult, wrong! Make sure you get yourself a good foot and a half long extension for your ratchet and you can get to them much MUCH easier!

Since I have no idea what your car experience is, just to make sure I did say something, don't get suckered into buying "pre-mixed" coolant, you pay twice as much for half the product! Buy full concentrate and a coolant tester and do it yourself, you'll be glad you did

could be that, could be a bad blend door motor/acuator, a bad heater control valve, a faulty climate conteol cluster.

really going to need some specific info here if you want some help.

have you played with the control buttons?

does the air switch from defrost to floor?

when you start the car first thing in the morning, and give a little gas, do you hear a fluid rushing kinda sound from the dashbaord?

just need some better info buddy.

It's possible the heater core is clogged, you can try a flush. Are you losing any coolant from anywhere, like, do you have to keep adding coolant once in a while? If the heater core was leaking at all you wouldn't have any heat. You better hope you don't have a bad heater core and need to change it b/c if so then you better be more then "pretty good" with your hands. I did mine starting on New Years eve last year. Check out post #7, it has what needs to be done to remove it; https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...ater-core.html
