FOG lamps removal on 98 LS. Help!
Hello fellas.
I wish to change my fog lights with some whiter and bluer bulbs so they match with my HID headlights.
Does anyone know how to remove the fog lamp assembly?? Thanks!!

I assume all you want to do is replace the fog light bulb...
I recently checked out the cornering lights (probably turn signals for the '98), and it looked to me like the best way to get to the fog lamps (placed forward from turn signals) is to go under the car, remove the splash guard. There are about 5 small bolts holding the splash guard up, I removed these, bent the splash guard down, and had full access to that whole corner of the bumper. After I was done, the splash guard went right back w/ no problems due to bending it.
...BTW, if you happen to have a digital camera - would you take a picture of the turn signal area and post it?? .... on the '99, the turn signal is a dummy, and I'd like to change it into cornering lights - your picture would help.

thanks!!
i found out that those corner lights (placed together with the fogs) are a dummy no matter what year. mine are a dummy as well. i remember someone posted a pic of an LS400 with those lights on (looked awesome) but only Canadian and Japanese models came with 'real' corners. bad!!
