$65. They're cheaper if ya get it from a Lexus part warehouse site. Or you can find an aftermarket for about $25. Sooner or later you'll be able to find anything on the Sewell site, and others. It takes practice, ya just gotta keep searching.

Thank you sir.
I was looking in all the wrong places !
I wish I could experience the access to all the cheap parts in the US. Living north of the 49th parallel with a Lexus = more $$$. I have to use local resources get any 'deal'...

Well, I've put a couple thousand miles on the car since I changed the sensor and the spark plugs + wires.
My average in town MPG is 11-12. Not acceptable. The car runs great, no check engine lights, good power. Most of my driving is very conservative, but no improvement in MPG. I've just come to the conclusion that this car is a POS. It's a sad piece of engineering that can't get any better mileage than an 8000 lb pickup truck. My last tank averaged out to 9.9 mpg. Toyota has lost my faith completely. This is compounded by the price of parts from Toyota/Lexus. Who the hell do they think they are?
I've decided the time has come for me to seriously consider selling the car. I am hesitant because of the money i've put in it, but scared to keep it because of the impending future costs(timing belt, water pump, etc). At 117,000 miles, it's probably near to losing the TB, A/C, and other things. It's a risk I can't have right now, as I am unemployed and can not find work. I paid $3200 for the car originally, I'm probably going to list it locally starting at $4000.
My next car will likely be a late 90's Saturn SL2. It may not be as refined of a driving experience, but it'll get me from A-B for dirt cheap. If I feel the need to hot rod, I can always drive my friend's 95 Firebird.

The engine is probably worn among other potential sensor issues. That's just what happens to machines after plenty of miles/use. Back in the day, it did as it was called for. It may indeed be time to be put out to pasture.
Pops had a Satrun SL2, It had ECU, injector and a few other electrical issues. It IMO was beat by 120K. Biggest problem was the ECU which was why he let it go.
How about a Corolla?

I've felt the same exact way a few times, thinking, "this POS garbage car, what good is it?" But then realized there's more good then bad and it's good enough for the amount I drive. 11-12 MPG is pretty bad, sort of. If I use a tank in 3 days with all city driving I will get about 13-14 MPG, but if a tank lasts me 3 weeks of city driving, (it happens when ya don't work) I get 10 MPG b/c the car is sitting warming up idling more then it's driving. I know mine should get more then that but I also know what is wrong with it, why it's so low. (AFM is bad, bad) Highway the other day I got 21 MPG, shocked the hell out of me.
Don't go blaming Toyota/Lexus b/c your car is bad, there are millions that aren't bad. Sometimes in life ya get a lemon. I know, it's just pissing you off b/c of how much you have in it. If you decide to sell it I hope ya get something close to what you ask for it. I don't think you'll get $4K though. I feel your pain about unemployment, I've been out a little over 2 years. I've thought many times just trading the LS for a 4 cylinder. Keep your head up, it gets better. It has to, it can't go on like this forever.

If I wasn't unemployed, I could probably justify keeping the car. Like I said, it's a very nice car for driving around in. Smooth, quiet, plenty of power when you need it(although I haven't been getting on it very much lately). The downside is the cost. Fuel mileage + repairs. It doesn't idle very often. It doesn't get cold enough here to really need any warm-up, so I get in and go. I don't find myself stopping at lights very often, or for long periods. The longest it ever idles is if there is a line at the drive-thru.
I don't expect to get $4k for it, but I would list it there and then gradually lower it. It's easier to start high and take a lower offer than start low and try to get more.
