Default New to me 1990 with NO brights?
I just bought a Lexus LS400 1990 for my son and it seems to be in perfect condition in spite of 188,000 miles. What should I be alert to? Also the bright lights do not come on at all....... Is this car only supposed to use Premium gas? Is the mid or low grade okay?

run premium, it wont run especially well on anything but 91, pings like all hell here in cali esp. in the summer.

SEARCH the site for the common issues. easily found. high beams are probably just dead bulbs or a relay, again, search.

My high beams work on my 90 LS. Maybe your high beam filaments are burnt.
