Power window and door lock question

Power window and door lock question
Hello all,
I did a search for the forum before I am posting but did not turn our any links or maybe I used wrong terms and unrelated threads came up and did check them all.
I have a 1999 LS400 US Specs and today was checking the power windows for the passenger side. It does automatically goes up and down from the switch on the passenger door, whereas from the driver side switch it goes down automatically but to go up you need to hold it up and it does not do so automatically. So I was wondering is the driver side module faulty (with the switches) or is there something wrong with the door ECU (passenger or driver side door) or what so that I could change what was damaged exactly and did not try buying and replacing the wrong part. I would be very grateful if anyone can help me or point me in the right direction.
Another issue is that the driver side door locks at time while other times it doesnt and the whole car will not lock at those instances and I have to do it manually, does it mean that the door lock actuator motor is gone and need to replace it or is it the door control module. Again any help would be appreciated. I did see threads in GS, ES and IS but could not see for the LS or again maybe searched wrong terms. I would be again grateful if any help could be provided.
