how do you change the license plate bulbs on a 1990 ls 400
I need to change the light bulbs that illuminate the license plate on the trunk lid, there are four screws, but removing them seems to do nothing anyone know the secret.

remove the 4 screws, then get a panel remover or putty knife and wedge it between the trunk and the black plastic panel where the 4 screws were on. if u never took it out before then it will take some pressure to pop it out. once its loose, slide to either the left or right and it should come right out.
