90' LS400 Parts??? Brake Booster
Hey guys, I live in the Suburbs of Washington DC in the Northern Virginia area near Dulles Airport. I was wondering if anyone had any resources where I can find a reasonably priced After-Market, Brake Booster for an LS400 90' . .If anyone has any info and can help out that would be great!
All the best. Thanks in advance guys, . . .

Brake booster rebuild kits run from $217 to $242 from http://lexus.sewellparts.com depending on whether or not your car has TRAC if you register on their website with your forum member name. New OEM brake boosters run from about $685 to $782.
When I googled "aftermarket brake booster" one of the first hits was $162.16 for an aftermarket brake booster from http://www.discountbrakes.com That is severely cheap but I have no idea about the quality.

Hey Kansas, Thanks for the quick response! I didn't know about rebuild booster kits at Sewell, . . that's a great resource. Thanks you!
However, I did come across that after market brake booster by A1 CARDONE BRAKE BOOSTER for $162.00. But I believe my car does have TRAC, and I cant find anywhere in the description if that After-market 1620. part would work with TRAC--- or maybe I'm just not reading it correctly.

Yay, No TRAC Control Switch!!!
Thanks so much for that advice-- You were the first person that I have spoken to in the past week that was able to determine if my vehicle had TRAC control without searching through a VIN number!
So, I think that I'm going to purchase the Reman A1 Cardone Brake Booster!
However, I did find two brands of cheaper Brake Boosters on another parts side. I found the A1 Cardone model for $121.87, and a Centric for $100.98. Both brands say they will fit the 90' LS400 90. http://www.partsgeek.com/catalog/199...e_booster.html
But, I probably should just go with the A1 Cardone since they seem to be a bit more popular brand....Any thoughts?

The link isn't working but I looked it up anyway and personally, I would get the A1 Cardone. Mainly b/c of the warranty. It doesn't show it on partsgeek but I looked at Autoparts warehouse and it shows A1 Cardone as "limited lifetime" and Centric at " 90-day or 3,000-mile limited" Plus A1 Cardone has been around for 40 years, Centric only 10 years. I would go with more experience. (I've been around 40 years)
