I found a wicked clean one down in St. Petersburg, FL. 1999 model with 100k miles with the timing belt change done already. White with tan interior. They are asking $7995 but I sent them an email asking if they would be willing to trade+$$$ for my G35. *fingers crossed!

I never even went and looked at it. The timing belt on that car was done at like 70k miles and judging by the pictures, the car looks almost new. It was just an insult that they were offering me less than $8k for a car they would put on their lot for $14.5k so I didn't waste my time

It has higher mileage (200k) however has been maintained well. The guy still hasn't called me back yet so I don't know if he has sold his LS yet.. However I have been toying with the idea of buying this 92 LS400 with a knock in the engine for $400. If the body and interior is in condition I might buy it and just rebuild the engine myself and have a LS with a "brand new" engine in it for around $1500. We'll see..

Well, I got to test drive Vaughn's 92LS and today I went and checked out a 98 LS in Alabama with 219k miles for $5800. Car was clean, ran perfect (from what I could tell) and was overall almost a new car. Biggest thing I didn't like about it was the Nakamichi sound system. (I could just be wrong but from what I was reading is you can't do really anything without replacing all the speakers in order to put a head unit, sub, ect in) They too tried to give me $6500 for my 04 G35 so I declined.. I guess I could just sell my car to one of the numerous people that offered me $10k for it then go buy a Lexus. I drove both cars, they both felt exactly the same surprisingly. Like driving on a cloud in silence! LOVE IT. So now I know, I like how they all drive, now is to just find someone selling their Lexus for cheap and then hit them up with my salesman experience and get it for cheap! Stay tuned for car purchasing ownage, lol

Went and checked the car out, Offered the guy $1100. Leather in interior is almost mint, dashboard is cracked (are there dash caps available for this car or do I have a better chance just replacing it?) drivers door is dented bad but that's it, opens and shuts fine. Drivers window control only controls itself, all of the other windows only control themselves. Hoodshocks needed replacement, needs new tires (no worries, was planning on rims/tires anyways), gauge cluster doesn't light up, and there is a leak in the AC but has a new compressor. Also the blower for the AC is making a racket, the radio doesn't work (was planning on replacing that anyways as well) and a slight power steering leak. Other than ALL of that though, the car ran good, and we all know a running car is atleast worth $1000 but this is a Lexus and has basically a new leather interior. Do any of these problems point to something bigger or does this sound familiar for a 91 LS400? Thanks
