Default Need urgent help with my ucf10 / ls400

Hey everyone i was wondering how do i remove the bottom portion of rubber on the lowest part of my ucf10? Like the black part? heres some pics





I tried a little bit to rip it off hahah but i doubt thats a right way to do it

Urgent Help? what searches have you tried?
have you even tried taking off the panels so you can see what is holding it on?


yours is an older model, but my book shows this:

I believe the lower rubber portion of the panel IS part of the panel..I have one right here in my house and it seems riveted to the cladding..

That rubber piece is attached on the inside of door outside moulding (panel) with rivets. This is from my 93 manual; To take off the panel on the front door you need to
remove 2 screws from inside lower door panel. (rear door is 2 screws, 1 nut) Using a moulding remover, pry out the moulding from the lower side. (manual says upper side but that's wrong)
Drill out the rivets
Remove rivets.
Install is reverse

And urgent help would be something like you have broken down on an ice road in Alaska with temperatures below -60 or you car is on fire.

Well, he did post at midnight so . Don't want to get scratches on the door in the middle of the night. (Idk exactly where he's from though)

hahah thanks everyone and i was trying fix my car up as fast as i can... so i guess its not really urgent :/ but thanks again! ill try all methods you guys recommended
