Default Seats cracked/torn 98 ls400 - other models compatible?

Hi...my drivers seat is cracked and has a decent sized tear on the bottom cushion leather. I saw a pair of seats from a 2009 rx400 on craigslist. I was hoping they would be compatible. If not the entire seat, can I harvest the cushions and use them on my ls400 seat frames?

I'm also open to any/all other ideas anyone has. I am going to sell it b/c I just upgraded to the 430 so I would rather not put a ton a $ into it.

not without a fair bit of work, especially since there's the airbag issue to contend with.

The most logical would be from another 98-00

I would prefer the LS430 seats but have no idea how close they are to a fit. Certainly some changes would be needed.

I was thinking it wasn't going to be as easy as I hoped. I may just sell it with the torn seat and let the next owner worry about it.

5 options;
1) Get a drivers seat from a junkyard
2) Have the seat reuphulstered
3) Seat covers
4) Spend alot of money on the new seats and do all that massive amount of work trying to get them to fit and have all the electricals work
5) Like you said "let the next owner worry about it"
Torn seats are not a deal breaker for me when buying a used car.

clazzio doesnt make replacement covers, they make covers that go OVER the stock leather.

Youre right, never realized that. I sat in a seat with them and couldnt even tell so I wouldnt hesitate to get them. Their floormats are also very nice.
