Cool lack of power

I have a 92 ls 400 i have a wierd problem that only happens when the original intake system is in place it always sputters and shifts like crap i was wondering if i can just get some help with this

That's a pretty vague post. So, it runs fine with another intake? I'm think it's a vacuum leak or maf problem

Yeah that is pretty vague but if it's good with the intake hoses and everything hooked up then you know what the problem is; the original intake, or part of it. I would put my money on the AFM b/c if it's bad and you unplug them then the car will run good. Put the intake system back to normal, unplug the AFM and if it runs good, that's the problem. Next post give more info.

if its like mine your hood insulation is sagging down and covering the intake poertion of your intake above the rad. I had to glue mine back up. until i did that it had 50% power when you'd step on it - just choke itself off. its happened to more than just me
