Default Help with fender rolling/cutting

Need to roll the fenders, F and R on my 93' ls400. I know the fronts usually dimple when rolling because of the tabs inside. I do not want dimpled fenders, so I'm thinking about shaving and rolling. If I go slow and take my time with a heat gun and just use the Eastwood will the fronts still dimple? Trying to fit 19x9.5 +22 F (225/35/19) and 19x10 +22 R (235/35/19). Btw I'm on BC coils.

my fronts came out pretty good , a dimple on each side at the tab hole towards the front of the fender arch and one towards the rear. and the rears themselves came out with very minor dimpling.

for the fronts, cut off the metal tabs, clean inbetween fender lip to get rid of all the dirt / rocks in there. Depending on how flat you want to roll will determine if there will be dimples or not. My fenders are rolled completely flat and i have minor dimpling. Take your time

dimpling, unless you are reworking/repainting the fenders, are almost impossible to avoid because of the metal tabs and the way they reinforce the inner fender

Would a heat gun even help? I could see a torch helping, but that would jack your paint.

so far I've cut the tabs where the fenders liners go. and trimmed the inner fender to about 1cm all the way across, I'm going to use a roller and go slow with heat. Vincent I've seen your car on WF, it's sick haha.

Thanks man, i think even if you go slow you will have some sort of dimple action. Its hard to avoid it but almost all lexus cars ive owned had that problem. Goodluck

cut the tabs and roll away.

what i did was cut the tab and then just force roll the fender with the tire. that offset fits perfectly on a 1LS with just rolled fenders f/r.

thanks for the info, do you mean you used the wheel to roll the fender by placing a a jack under it and pushing it up into the fender well?

I was moving my car yesterday and the tire caught the tab and did a small pull in that area haha so I guess it works

As you lower the front those should naturally camber in pretty nicely.
