LS400 Question
Whats up CL, i bought a 92' LS400 like a month ago, and i was wondering why the hell the botem part of my car is black unlike the other year LS400's, it makes my car look 3tone instead of 2...
heres a pic for reference.
heres what i like better
See the bottem part? How it is color matched? Do you guys think its worth painting or itll look pretty clean slammed and something different.. Cause i wanna decide if i want to paint that bottom part (if possible) before i install my coilovers.

Usually I dont like a car being lowered (unless for performance) but, WOW you need to drop that. Looks like you have a foot of clearence in the fenderwells. It's possible the last owner changed those pieces from a black car and never painted them. But yeah, you gotta paint them or something, it just doesn't fit. Other then that it looks decent.

Like Pure said, all 90-92 LS400's had black rocker panels. A nice aspect of them was that road tar on them didn't show.

The car appears to have a suspension issue -- air suspension stuck on high? My 90 LS was on its stock suspension when I sold it in 2003 and was substantially lower: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/mem...-side-view.jpg

I can attest to the bottom being black. My 91 is like that... If you decide to paint the rocker panels the same color as the lower cladding, I believe the color code for your cladding is: Toyota code #: UA30...

I can't tell by your pic but if the sideskirt has the moulding (Idk if 92 does) then to take it off there's 3 clips on the bottom, (Idk exact possition) 3 screws on top, (visable) and, I think, 3 more clips on top. The back moulding piece has the same 3 clips on bottom but only 1 screw.
