Default Fog lights won't turn on not the bulbs or fuse, help?

I just changed my headlights to a set of hid's that are not hi/lows. Durning the process I checked them and the fogs, headlights and corner lights all worked. After changing everything and putting everything back together, they just won't turn on, I checked the fuses, and although possible it is next to impossible for both fogs bulbs to go bad. I checked the fuse inside the cabin and the one next to the battery for fuses. I also changed the corner lights and they looked different from the factory but the guy at auto zone said they were the ones. Any ideas? I've searched the forum and found nothing but I could of done it wrong and would appreciate a link.

I would first confirm the opinion of the guy at Auto Zone. Trust your owner's manual.

I think it has something to do with the High beam slot on the regular headlight harness because if you put a stock bulb in there the foglight will turn on, but with jsut a lowbeam HID kit your only using 2 of the 3 slots.

yeah the pins in the LS have their polarity the reverse of most HID kits, so just swap the +/- pins on the connector from the HID ballast to the headlight outlet and you should be golden.

Default may need relay harness

switching the pins may also work but if you dont already have a a relay harness for the hid lights you should probably get one. I installed 6000k hid kit for my fog lights and I wasnt getting to full brightness and color out of the bulb. and once in a while one would turn on and the other wouldn't. when i got a relay harness my hids worked perfectly. i dont know why but the factory wires dont put out 12v i believe they put out like 9 i think.
