Default What's brass fitting on rear of air intake chamber for?

Have my '91 LS400 apart for knock sensors and there's a brass tube sticking out by the EGR attachment point.

It's just above where the L-shaped stabilizer on the banjo fitting from the brake vacuum booster pokes into the chamber.

Anyone know what connects to this??

It's got a broken piece of rubber tubing on it, but I have found no reference in either the shop manuals or the Lexus parts diagrams that might offer a clue what connects there.
