Default Passenger Rear Right Power Lock not working

All of a sudden my passenger right rear power lock is not working. Has anyone had this problem before?

My 90 did that and my 95 does it from time to time. I think there are other threads regarding this issue but I don't recall the fix and I haven't taken the time to figure it out for myself.

It seems to be temperature related.

Thanks for the link, I pop off the door panel and check it out. I'll post the results.

That is a great link and I hope that it will fix your problem. Unfortunately, the actuator motor drives a gear that ultimately pushes and pulls the rod connected to the locking mechanism. On mine (last weekend), the actuator motor contacts were clean. Mine must be replaced. The motor still works however, the actuator has a crack so when it is under load it slips and does not push or pull the locking mechanism. No real fix other than getting a new one at a salvage yard. If you can hear (better yet feel) your actuator in that door while you try to lock/unlock, chances are your issue is like mine. I look forward to hearing about yours. I have seen used ones for around $115. Too bad it is just not a simple 12v motor

I hope by cleaning the actuator electrical contacts it fixes your problem. I was not so lucky.
