97 Nak changer dead..options?
Just bought a 1997 ls400, the cd changer didn't respond so i pulled it out, all the bolts and screws were not really tight and the changer itself was missing some screws so i think someone was messing with it and maybe fried it. So two questions.. Should I just leave it unplugged in case it is fried?(not sure if it matters or not) and are there any other options for the space to replace the changer other than an oem off ebay?
Ps its a Nakamichi system..
any suggestions?
Thaks!

Dude CD changer in the trunk I know 13 years ago it was cool but maybe its time to upgrade to a new head unit with ipod or auxiliary inputs might be a little more expensive but you know your all new without having to go in the trunk to change music 13 year old head unit might not last to much longer anyway plus there have been advancements in sound processing technology since then Just my 2 cents

If you don't mind the stock system, hit up one of the local dismantle yards for a unit. A new head unit/system if you are willing to spend $.
