Default Steering Wheel Vibration

I just had lower ball joints installed, rear brakes, left rotor, left caliper and left axle... had the car out for a ride and noticed a very slight vibration thru the wheel...then i started to think i was crazy, of course i should feel a slight vibration, its a car sheesh.... next day when i got in, while warming it up, i felt no vibration at all, said yep im not crazy..in drive for the first few minutes no vibration but shortly it comes back...is hardly noticably but the LS 400 is a different beast, sometimes i used to wonder if the engine was still running when i was stopped at a light...anybody have any ideas? my mechanic is top notch (and a personal friend)...i was hoping the brakes had to wear just a bit? thanks, jeff

There are ALOT of things that can cause vibration. Seeing that you said that you just had lower ball joints installed, did you have the car aligned properly? Alignment is needed after doing ANY type of suspension work. When was the last time you had the tires balanced? ALL LEXUS' are SUPER SENSITIVE to wheel balance and if they are not correct, you WILL feel vibration. Would start there first.
