Default TRD strut bar and UCF10

The TRD Supra TT strut bar I ordered came in today. I went to put it on and this thing doesn't even line up with the bolts on the tower, I'm kinda pissed.
Some people said they needed washers and others said they didn't so I was wondering what brand you guys were running with successful fitment

Take a look at this one. It will fit a UCF10 perfectly.

Please excuse the ignorant question - but does the LS400 have significant enough flex between the towers that this brace is useful for anything other than extreme driving?

nope the absolute most the bar does is provide a little extra bracing and dress up the engine bay.

the LS is a double wishbone car, so there isnt much horizontal force applied at the top of the shock tower like you'd see in a mcphereson strut car.
