So I called elite JDM in Philly today trying to see if they can get me a rhd conversion for my car. Has anyone else ever thought of doing this?

No.
Do you want to use it to deliver mail on a rural route?

What would convert your mind to actually take on this project? Would your state allow you to pass inspection if successful? Just curious!

Yes here in Virginia you can as long as you leave the original bin on the car and you put the vin on the dash. I was stationed in japan for 8 years and I actualy enjoy driving on the right hand side better. I had a r33 there and when I for back I had a 180sx type x.

Unless you work for the postal service delivering rural mail I wouldn't do this (or unless you're really bored and can get parts cheap / do the work on your own).

You'll also likely take a big hit on resale IMO - very few people are going to want to buy this.

Interesting but the conversion would be mega $. Then you'll be stuck trying to get specific RHD parts that will be further frustration stateside.

You'll also have some awesome new HUGE blindspots and your headlights will blind everyone else.

I'm sure the swap is possible though. They do it all the time on the lower end japanese cars aka hondas/acuras/nissans.

Anything is possible.

Don't listen to the haters, I'd love to see it.
