My 97 LS400 just started to idle very low and will die. if i put my foot in it it runs fine. almost acting like a bad IAC. Ive done the search thing on this forum and google but I cannot seem to find someone with the same problem so I have some simple questions: does the ls have an IAC and do they commonly go bad? what else other than an IAC could cause such a low idle? I am in Texas and experiencing abnormally cold conditions, could this cause the low idle?

I had a similar problem with my 1990 in December. I found a idle speed control valve on the auction site and replaced mine. See my write up here
