Default 1st Gen Steering Preload Adjustment

Can anyone tell me if the power steering preload is adjustable on my 93 ls400? I'd like to try and take some one the "freeplay" out of the steering. The inner and outter tie-rod ends, as well as the column u-joints are all tight.
Thanks!

if all those pieces you mentioned dont have play then you more likely have worn front suspension components (ie-bushings/ball joints).

the LS shouldnt have play in the steering >~1/2inch (i believe, might be less)

The play is somewhere in the rack itself, ive checked and double checked all the bushings and ball joints. they arent super stiff, little play in the bushings, but none are torn and the bj's are tight.

I tried the same thing already, the rack is tight in the bushings. When they were rocking the steering wheel i could feel a little play inside the rack.
