^ +1. Make sure to run stretched tires, negative camber and roll your fenders for more clearance to avoid rubbing.

Not at all, 41mm is definitely in the mid-high 20mm offset range.

lol.
i'd be worried about inner clearance w/ +41. not 100% that it will be an issue but it seems likely,

well thats the issue i was more worried about.
cause i see a ton of 18x9 front 18x10 rear. i figured that they just wanted a stagger fitments not the fact of inner clearance

Well after a certain point if one chooses to run higher offset wheels in front to compensate for the 10" wide wheel poking out too much there could be clearance issues, which I believe is why people go towards the 9's or 9.5's up front. It is all personal preference though.
What rims are you getting btw?

I second this - they almost look like truck wheels. Putting Shelby wheels on an LS just seems like you're depriving the car of what it deserves.
I mean, it's your car - you'll do what you want with it though. Just my $0.02.

for 450 don't bother. i haven't seen even the hottest of the hot deals in that range. maybe ls430 18s, but even then you're pushing it.
